Position Description

The M&E Advisor will serve as the primary technical expert responsible for overseeing all monitoring and evaluation-related activities for LEAP Global. This will include tasks such as performance monitoring, data analysis and display, and reporting on achievements and results. Additionally, the M&E Advisor will work to improve the project's monitoring and evaluation systems and performance monitoring. They will also create all data collection processes for the project and review all data before providing final numbers for all reporting to USAID. The Advisor will collaborate with project managers and technical advisors, contributing to the development of Annual Work Plans and Activity Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Plans, Quarterly and Annual Reports, and routine performance reports.

 

Location: Remote
Work Schedule: Full-time
Starting Salary Range: $90,000

Responsibilities

•Leading the development and implementation of Activity Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Plan.
•Advising on the selection of appropriate indicators, setting realistic and measurable targets, and determining data sources and collection methods.
•Providing technical expertise and guidance to project staff and partners in M&E methodologies and best practices.
•Developing and facilitating training programs to enhance the M&E capabilities of project team.
•Overseeing data collection, management, and analysis processes.
•Ensuring data quality and reliability for informed decision-making.
•Analyzing trends and patterns to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
•Leading the preparation of comprehensive M&E reports and presentations for USAID and other stakeholders.
•Ensuring that M&E findings are communicated effectively in Annual Work Plan, Quarterly and Annual Reports
•Facilitating discussions and workshops to disseminate findings and incorporate feedback.
•Supporting the development of Annual Work Plan, Quarterly and Annual Reports.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Epidemiology, International Development, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Statistics, or Evaluation with three (3) years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Epidemiology, International Development, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Statistics, or Evaluation with five (5) years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation.
•Experience with USG-funded projects or other international donor-funded projects.
•Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems and frameworks.
•Expertise in developing and tracking performance indicators, data collection and analysis methodologies, and reporting.
•In-depth understanding of international development issues.
•Familiarity with USG rules and regulations, as well as their reporting requirements.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
