Work Schedule: Full-time, Hybrid preferred; remote eligible
Starting Salary Range: $132,368 - $167,538.16 a year with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and education, in addition to budget availability.
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Core Working Hours: 1000-1500 EST
The USAID Office of the General Counsel (OGC) serves as the Agency’s Chief Legal Office, providing advice on legislative, administrative, and program matters. OGC represents USAID in legal matters, including administrative and litigation matters.
Scope of Work
The Litigation Attorney-Mid supports the OGC in providing legal advice to the Agency in administrative and litigation matters. This role involves analyzing complex legal issues, assisting with litigation preparation, and drafting pleadings, motions and briefs for federal courts, administrative tribunals, and other adjudicative bodies in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Agency policies.
